How Far?

How far Lord?
How long,
before
I stop?

How far must I run?
How long must I go,
before I let you speak?
Allow you to feed me?

How long
will I go on,
providing my own solutions,
instead of seeking yours?

How far will I go
in my blind panic,
before checking in with you?

Thank you
that however far,
however long,
you come to me,
wake me,
feed me
and take me on
to your place
of presence.

May I
wake,
eat
and walk
with you
