Sacrifice and Redemption in Eastenders
Warning this has a storyline spoiler…
Well last nights live Eastenders solved the question everyone was supposedly asking. The conundrum of who killed Archie.
As someone who gave up on Eastenders a couple of years ago, it was interesting to watch, but I was struck by the ending.
Here is the spoiler. If you don’t know, don’t read on.
The conclusion of it wall was with Bradley (or rather the stunt double) throwing himself off the roof of a very high building. He did this to allow Stacey, his wife, to escape. I assume during their ‘quiet moment’, that we didn’t see, that she had told him that she was the murderer. He was trying to create a distraction, and make them assume it was him that was guilty.
He died, so that the one he loved who was guilty could go free.
