They think it’s all over… it is now!

Jesus had been got rid of – as you were…
But that was not God’s plan. Jesus had died, but that is not the end of the story.
The women go to the tomb to tend it – but no need. Jesus isn’t there. “Why look for the living among the dead?” Jesus is not dead, he is alive. Still buried are those things we have got wrong. The times we have betrayed; the times we’ve stood with the wrong crowd; the times we’ve been passionate about the wrong things; all all those other things we wished we had done and we haven’t, the things we’ve done that we haven’t – everything in our lives that has been wrong is gone, forgiven and left behind.
Jesus is alive. New life abounds. You, me, everyone can know the resurection love, hope, forgiveness and peace that Jesus brought that first Easter morning, and still brings today and every day.
Jesus is risen – Alleluia!
